Abstract:
Entrepreneurial education plays a vital role in the development and progression of the Canadian economy. In Canada, women's empowerment in entrepreneurship is an essential component of economic development, societal development, and gender equality. These factors further emphasize the importance of overcoming the systemic gender-related barriers that have historically and presently coincided with entrepreneurial education and the entrepreneurial industry. This research study focuses on the absence of physical entrepreneurial education environments for women entrepreneurs, contributing to the development of an education and resource centre for aspiring women entrepreneurs. The proposed typology intends to address the deficiencies within entrepreneurial education through innovative interior design strategies and solutions. The recommendations and implementations of this study advocate for the equality, diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and success of women-identifying entrepreneurs. The data collection methodologies and design research methodologies employed for this study are outlined to address the design problem and emphasize the integration of the Experiential Learning Theory and GEET+ Framework in entrepreneurial education environments. The results of the study persistently underscore the significance of entrepreneurial education environments that promote community development, networking, mentoring, collaboration, and experiential learning for women entrepreneurs. "Empowering Entrepreneurial Minds: Designing an Education and Resource Centre for Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs" provides a thorough analysis of impactful and inclusive design strategies that accommodate the unique needs and challenges of women pursuing entrepreneurial education and the entrepreneurial landscape. Keywords: Women Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurial Education, Experiential Learning Theory, Gender-Smart Entrepreneurship Education & Training Plus (GEET+), Gender Equality.
