With limited public transit to the North Campus parking became a premium commodity and the college was forced to begin charging parking fees. Vehicles that did not display proper parking decals, were parked in fire routes, or otherwise improperly parked were towed to an on campus compound where the owner would be required to pay a fine to have the vehicle released. In this photo, a security guard stands by while a vehicle is brought into the storage compound.
