A prototype of the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System or "CANADARM" that were used on the Space Shuttle orbiters to deploy, maneuver and capture payloads stands majestically outside the new technology building "N". This prototype was donated to the college by the manufacturer, SPAR Aerospace of Brampton, Ontario.
